Commission #2

Having delivered "Exubearance" to Town Square Art Gallery for framing, there's no time to sit on my laurels.  I need to begin immediately on the next painting in order to make the deadline for Pediatric Dentistry of Alaska's new office opening.  Since this next painting will hang in the clinic where the children are being examined and worked on, I conceived this sketch as an act of friendship to put the kids at ease.  When I first sketched it out, the little arctic ground squirrel was offering the big grizzly bear a fireweed blossom.  As an afterthought, I quickly sketched out a toothbrush on a piece of vellum and taped it over the fireweed.  Dr. Beck liked this idea.  Stay tuned to see how it works out.
