DAY OF THE DOG

DAY OF THE DOG
This is my final Dia de los Muertos painting for now. I am moving on to a bigger canvas (18" x 24") and a bigger animal (as in M-U-L-E). Family pets are often represented in Day of the Dead celebrations. Since I lost a special canine friend this year, I decided to end this series with a dog portrait. Here's to Spanky and all the other Wonder Dogs out there who have gone on to the happy hunting grounds.
And for all of us left behind, try to wag more and bark less.
