MOXIE DOXIE

MOXIE DOXIE
I had to take time out from my Dia de los Muertos paintings to capture this adorable little Dachshund. With Halloween quickly approaching, I look forward to the timeless tradition of dressing up domestic animals in ridiculous costumes and parading them about as if they were movie stars. I know it's frivolous and wanton and entirely bizarre, but it brings a smile to my face whenever I encounter a dog in drag.

  1. I fell in love with this one the moment I laid eyes on it. Your bright colors and the look you captured on this little ones face: too, too cute. Can't wait to receive it.
    Cheers!

  2. I just read your bio, you lived in Palmer, Ak for 22 years? I grew up in Anchorage, graduated from West High. We spend our winters in Lafayette,LA but still call Alaska "home" spending May - October there at our cabin west of Talkeetna on Lake Creek. Small world.
