Day 12 of the 30-in-30 Challenge.
I decided to paint another roadrunner because the first one I did (see "Lizards for Lunch") seems more like a roadrunner statue, when after all, the beauty of a road runner is that it . . . runs! Another reason is that lately I keep bumping into them on my walks with Mimzy. They're very curious birds who like to check out the locals, nosing about any patio or open garage they find, looking for their next meal. I once saw one walk right past and into the moving container we had just unloaded at my daughter's house while we all stood aghast remarking how brave the little fellow was. Roadrunners are especially fond of reptiles and rodents, so they are welcome to share my outdoor spaces any time.
