It's DAY 23 and I couldn't go through another day of this 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge without painting a scene from the Prescott, Arizona Frontier Days & World's Oldest Rodeo. If you've never been to Prescott's rodeo, you should go BYD (before you die). It's there you will see cowboydom at its finest, with all the ridin', ropin', bustin' and herdin' you could ever want. I even saw a monkey herding sheep on the back of a dog. (He did a darn good job, too!) And the sight of all those good looking cowboys and cowgirls all gussied up in their finest rodeo duds is a sight to behold. Cowboys come from all over the country to compete in this rodeo. And Prescott welcomes them with open arms.

You know something? Prescott welcomes everyone with open arms. That's why they call it "Everybody's Home Town".
