Spring is in the air in Prescott, AZ. How do I know this? Because the hummingbirds are back in town and raising a daily ruckus out on my deck. They are demanding mass quantities of sugar water, which we all know will turn teeth to something resembling an acid experiment gone bad. Lucky thing hummingbirds don't have teeth.

I did this commissioned painting for Pediatric Dentistry of Alaska before I moved to Arizona to help kids think of flossing as fun. Maybe if we really could enlist hummingbirds to floss our teeth, we'd all be flossing a lot more.
