Although I knew it would take some recuperation time after I got both my big toe joints replaced, I didn't realize that meant I couldn't stand or even sit at my easel for a solid month. I guess gravity has the upper hand when one is trying to NOT have hobbit feet. But spring is busting out all over Prescott and I'm ready to be back in my studio. I painted this rooster strutting through some daffodils as a reminder that I want to be walking with the same attitude by the time flip flop weather arrives.
