Poppy is a wild hare with a genuine flair for having her picture taken while in the perfect pose. In this case she is nibbling on a choice piece of meadow grass while gazing ever so earnestly at the camera, so as to make the viewer feel he is intruding on her moment of deep introspection. She especially loves to pose in the poppies at dusk, to show off her magnificent, glossy fur in the best light while looking like she owns the place. She's ready for her close-up, Mr. DeMille.
