GINGER

Ginger's favorite place on earth was following at the feet of her human mama, Lynn. Whenever Lynn would leave the house, Ginger would wait expectantly for her to come home. When Lynn returned, Ginger would always follow the leader from room to room, backyard to front yard, kitchen to bedroom to yes, even the bathroom. Ginger tracked her master wherever she went. That was her happy place. A visitor might come in the door worthy of a sniff, but then Ginger would resume her place at the feet of the person she loved the most. As Ginger reached her senior years, she continued to follow Lynn with her eyes, if not as often with her feet. When Ginger reached the ripe old dog age of 100 years, she  heeded the call and went to follow a new Master, the One who is even more faithful than she.
Now that Ginger has relocated to Heaven, Lynn still finds herself checking her feet for her faithful little dog, expecting her to be there - saddened when she isn't. But Ginger is still tracking. She looks down from on high like a furry little guardian angel, watching faithfully and waiting expectantly for Lynn to come home.
