MAGGIE EARL
I painted this portrait for Maggie's human mom who just turned 70. Seventy is about 490 years old in dog years. Maggie is a sheep dog. She herds anything that moves. It's her nature. When she moved to Arizona from Utah, she began herding the quail in her back yard, along with an occasional lizard. She's a gentle soul, and her devotion shows in her big brown eyes, but that doesn't prevent her from keeping everyone in line.
